The Honor Play has been officially announced, a high-end smartphone that is designed for game lovers and has indeed met expectations.

In terms of design, the Honor Play has clearly rounded lines and minimalist and flat finish that is only interrupted by the antenna lines and the fingerprint reader, which is located in the back.

Its housing is made of aluminium and on the front shows a finish all screen with the classic top notch, where the call speaker, sensors and front camera are located. In the lower part we have another small edge where the Honor logo is located.

At the level of specifications, it is an authentic high-end smartphone because Honor Play is featuring a very high-end display of 6.3-inch IPS screen with 19: 9 format and resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels.

For the processor, the high-end SoC Kirin 970 with eight-core CPU, neural processing unit and Mali-G72 MP12 GPU (with turbo mode to improve game performance) is used. For the memory, you will find 4 GB-6 GB of RAM and 64 GB-128 GB of expandable storage capacity.

The camera configuration is pretty good with a dual camera of 16 MP + 2 MP, the front of 16 MP (can make portraits with bokeh effect and lighting effects). For the 6 inches smartphone, the battery capacity of 3.750 mAh is pretty decent.

Out of the box, the smartphone Honor Play runs Android 8.1 with the EMUI 8.2 customization layer. Also, Huawei Histen 3D system integrated into the Honor Play, which offers 3D sound and 7.1 virtualized.

The Honor Play will be available first in China from June 11. The standard version of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage capacity will have a price to change of 265 euros, while the model of 6 GB and 128 GB will cost 320 euros.

Next, to this flagship the Chinese company has also announced the Honor 9i, a mid-range model finished in metal and glass that boasts a good value for money as it is featuring a 5.84-inch IPS screen with 19: 9 format and resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels.

The high-end 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB-128 GB of expandable storage capacity are part of memories for Honor 9i. Its price is 185 euros for the change in its base configuration and 225 euros for the version with 128 GB of storage capacity.
