LG revealed Smart Laser TV: World’s first 4K projector TV
The Korean firm is currently one of the world’s best-known manufacturers of projectors, a position that has been won by the launch of very interesting products that incorporate the latest advances in the market. Among them stands out the LG Smart Laser TV, the first free TV with laser image quality of 2,000 lumens.
With the LG Smart Laser TV, it is possible to create a screen between 40 and 120 inches while enjoying 4K resolution. It also comes with webOS 3.5, which means that in addition to working as a high-quality free TV it can also work as Smart TV.
For nine years LG has been the leading brand in the LED projector segment. The sale of this type of devices has increased from 9% in 2016 to 11% in 2017, which means that they have become an increasingly popular option within the general consumer market.
The market trend is 4K, and the format that is best received is the “Ultra Short Shot,” designed for small spaces that need a custom screen. These types of solutions are suitable for small rooms where we do not have enough space to use a traditional projector.
To cover this sector, the Korean company markets the LG 4K UHD, a lightweight, a compact and portable projector that will allow us to set up our own cinema anytime, anywhere, without the need for installation, and with a premium image quality.
This projector is one of the most versatile on the market, as it is able to create a screen of up to 150 inches with 2,500 lumens of power, which makes it the device with more LG lumens. It also supports HDR content (HDR 10) and works as Smart TV.
At the moment price of LG Smart, Laser TV is not revealed, and its global launch may vary per countries you live in. However, it should be available very soon on the market shelves.
